With the help of her fairy godmother, her life is magically transformed and she finds her prince.

The Emperor’s New Clothes

By Holly-Morse Ellington and Jason Tinney

at Single Carrot Theatre on March 19

This retelling of the Hans Christian Anderson tale is set in a giant city that finds itself in a showdown between the boys and girls. Just as the popular and well-loved Blaze decides to name himself emperor of all the land Celia, determined to oppose him, announces her candidacy and hatches a brilliant plan. Set in the fast paced future, this production is glitzy, glamorous and concludes with a live televised spectacle complete with music, dancing, and a parade of outrageous personalities.

If your school group is interested in bringing its own lunch and eating it anywhere on the premises, you must make arrangements with Pumpkin Theatre and the specific performance venue 2 weeks prior to the day of your planned attendance of a Student Matinee Series performance. Under no circumstances must food be consumed on the premises without written consent by Pumpkin Theatre. There are fees associated with this process.
